You need to “chown mobile *” in the SNES directory. I was having the same trouble until I did that.

Yeah it is kind of sad actually. Telus did have poor data plans too before. I want to use my iPhone to surf mainly on the way to work and on breaks and stuff but I haven’t been able to do that now in a couple months. Hopefully our wait is not much longer.

Verizon didn’t want to be a part of revenue sharing with Apple. Maybe they have some kind of prototype or something.

One thing I find curious about this CDMA iPhone topic. Verizon is CDMA and Apple approached them to carry the iPhone. Doesn’t it seem likely Apple had a CDMA model when they were talking to Verizon?

This kind of sucks since Telus has a better data plan and a lot of people just don’t like Rogers. Maybe Rogers will have a friendlier data plan at the time of launch. For me the real draw of the iphone is Safari, I really want to be able to read all my favourite sites on the way to work, but not if I have to pay through the teeth!

I use wifi all the time and really get a kick out of some of the names of the networks... some of my favorites are:

1 dont even f@*king think about it
2 my dog's dink is pink
3 you're pretty when I'm drunk
